The life expectancy for males in Belize is one year longer than in the world and 4 years longer for males in North America. For women in Belize, it is also longer by 3 years and for North America 6 years longer. The average gross national income for Belize was less than 11,655 per capita and North America had more by 46,882 per capita than the average.

Looking at the information provided we can see that Belize and North America are not far off from the world’s averages in all areas except for the gross national income where Belize is trailing behind considerably and North America is leading the way. So essentially, Belize residents make drastically less than the average citizen and even less so than North America. This could be a good determining factor for things such as poverty.
